YES! Anyone can compete.
In any licensed kitchen or from scratch AT the event.
A church or a club can sponsor you, letting you use their licensed kitchen. Or, every year, we have competitors cook from scratch AT the event using our temporary event license. We can supply the oven at no cost to you. You just need to bring your ingredients, cookware and friends.
We expect everyone to cook at least 10 lbs of dry pasta. Businesses usually make 16 lbs or more of dry pasta. The more you make the more chances you have at winning!
2-3 ounces. We supply the serving cups & spoons.
There are 2 ways to win: by a panel of judges and by ticket holders’ votes.
$200 will be awarded to three 1st Place winners: Judge’s Choice, People’s Choice and Kid’s Choice and Best First Year Competitor. 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place winners will receive a trophy.
