Yes, but you can win your entry fee back by promoting our online ticket sales at Ticketleap.com and getting friends & family to buy tickets under your name. Check out the Applications for more detail on Entry costs and guidelines.

A church or a club can sponsor you, letting you use their licensed kitchen. Or, every year, we have competitors cook from scratch AT the event using our temporary event license.  We can supply the burners and other equipment potentially at no cost to you. We also have time reserved at the Artisan Exchange kitchen in West Chester just for you. Reach out to us so we can help you plan the best option for you. You just need to bring your ingredients, cookware and friends.

We expect all Main Event Competitors to cook at least 10 lbs of dry pasta. Businesses usually make 16 lbs or more of dry pasta. The more you make the more chances you have at winning! Hometown Showdown Competitors are limited to cooking around 4 pounds of dry pasta.

2-3 ounces. We supply the serving cups & spoons.

There are 2 ways to win: by a panel of judges and by ticket holders’ votes.

Main Competition

$250 will be awarded to four 1st place winners: Judge’s Choice, People’s Choice and Kid’s Choice and Best First Year Competitor. 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place winners will also receive trophies/medals.

Hometown Showdown Competition

First Place will receive a $100 cash prize. Second Place will receive a $60 cash prize. Third Place will receive a $30 cash prize. All places will receive a ribbon as well.
